Recording Input

  • Auto: select according to the connection state
  • Internal: the device's built-in microphone
  • External: the external audio input jack

The recording screen shows MIC INPUT or LINE INPUT. Check this if it differs from the input you intended to use.

Three types of Reset

Clear Project

Run this from Project → Clear Project.

This resets samples, beat, Rec, Key / Scale / Tuning, Bass / Melody / Chord, FX and Mixer. Wi-Fi, external input, Input Assign, device settings and files saved on the SD card remain.

Reset Kit

Run this from Sample → Reset Kit.

This loads your saved Default Kit if available; otherwise it returns to the built-in Kit. It does not erase the beat or Rec.

Reset All

Run this from System → Reset All.

  • Erase all Rec data
  • Reset the Sample Kit, beat, FX, Mixer and Key / Scale / Tuning
  • Delete the Default Kit on the SD card
  • Set external input back to Off
  • Reset file selection positions

Wi-Fi settings, built-in samples that cannot be erased, and regular Projects and Kits on the SD card are retained.

Danger

Reset All removes your current performance state and Default Kit. Save anything you need as a Project or Sample Kit before running it.

Stop only the sound immediately

You do not need to Reset. Press the upper dial on the right to stop all sound, including beats, Loops, samples and Music.
