KANTAN Sampler Manual
A sampler is an electronic instrument that lets you assign sounds to buttons, trigger sound effects and make music.
KANTAN Sampler combines sample playback, songwriting, DJ-style performance and music playback in one handheld instrument.
A large full-color display clearly shows the functions available at each moment, so you can start exploring sounds without memorizing every control.

Trigger sound effects on cue
Assign WAV or MP3 files to buttons and trigger them when you need them. Use the sampler as a soundboard for streams, stage shows or events.
Make a musical loop
Play the buttons over a beat and record your performance. You can layer bass, melody and chords, too.
Chop a track and play
Cut out a section of a track or long recording, split it across several buttons and play the pieces freely.
Play along with a track
Play a full track and add sound effects or fills whenever you like.
Shape the sound like a DJ
Apply effects to your performance or loop to change its movement and feel in real time.
Turn a recorded sound into an instrument
Give a recorded or imported sound a pitch and play it as bass, melody or chords.
